CCB Annual Awards
Thursday, May 6, 2021
Although we remain in the midst of the pandemic and are unable to have our regular Annual Dinner celebration for the 2nd straight year, we are committed to maintaining our tradition of recognizing two exceptional professionals with our two annual awards. The David Powell Lifetime of Service Award, named after the innovator of clinical supervision for SUD professionals, is given to someone who has a long history of exceptional service to our industry. The Joseph Sullivan Young Professional Award, given to someone age 30 or under who has demonstrated the drive to elicit change in others, honors the longtime leader in the nonprofit SUD prevention/treatment/recovery field in Connecticut.
Nominations are open and can be made at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/MM6HR2Q. They will remain open through the end of May. Self-nominations will not be accepted. The Board of Directors of the CCB will make the final selection from all of the nominations.
