Interim Executive Director, Jeffrey Quamme:

June 20, 2013
Wallingford, CT – If you weren’t aware, there have been some changes here at the CCB.

“Change is the law of life, and only those who look to the past or present are certain to miss the future.” – John Fitzgerald Kennedy

President Kennedy’s words ring true now as they did then, and his words have a clear application in our field. We can no longer remain focused only on what worked in the past, or is working now. We have to embrace change to advance as not only professionals, but as a profession. Change is the only constant, and here at the CCB, we embrace change in order to support our mission: “To protect the public by enhancing recovery-oriented workforce capacity.”

That being said, there are significant changes at the CCB. As many of you are aware, Marshall Rosier has left the agency to pursue several exciting recovery-oriented opportunities. During his tenure at the CCB, we were a catalyst for change at the state, national, and international levels. We are grateful for the vision he shared and all of his contributions that led to the exponential growth of the agency. I am grateful to him for helping me prepare for the position of Executive Director.

Many changes to the website are occurring as well. Our goal is to make our website as user-friendly as possible and to simplify the navigation for our Certified Professionals and candidates. F
