Ethics Requirement for Co-Occurring Certification
Wallingford, CT – The CCB Board of Directors voted on January 9th, 2014, to require one (1) hour of ethics training per year for renewals of all co-occurring credentials (SCCD, CCDP, CCDP-D). Previously there was no ethics requirement for co-occurring credential renewal. This change demonstrates the CCB’s commitment to not only continuing education in ethics, but also to ethical practice. This new requirement will begin with all co-occurring credentials due March 1, 2014 and later.
A listing of CCB approved ethics training providers can be found by clicking HERE. Please note that choosing an appropriate training provider is the responsibility of the certified professional as the CCB does not provide direct recommendations to specific individual providers.
