In partnership with CCAR – Connecticut Community for Addiction Recovery, the CCB will be piloting the new CARC written exam in August and you are invited to participate!
CARC - Certified Addiction Recovery Coach
Pilot Exam Testing & Discussion Session
Monday, August 27th 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm
Testing Session will be held at CVH, Lee Auditorium - Merritt Hall, Middletown, Connecticut
Tuesday, September 18 th 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm
Testing Session will be held at CVH, Page Hall -Room 213, Middletown, CT
The purpose of the pilot session is to collect sample data on the newly developed CARC exam. The pilot data will be used to review the exam performance and provide you an opportunity to assist us in making final changes to the format prior to public administration.

? There is no cost to participate
? Participants will NOT be given their test results and are NOT REQUIRED TO PASS
? Due to the generous support of CCAR, Participants that complete the CARC exam session (3 hours)
and meet eligibility requirements will be offered CARC certification AT NO COST for two-years: Eligibility requirements:
o 60 hours of training/education which includes at least:
? 30 hour recovery coach intensive/academy
? 30 hours of additional training specific to recovery coaching, addiction
recovery, ethics and recovery education o Experience with recovery coaching
o Interest in becoming a Certified Addiction Recovery Coach
