Gateway Community College is Offering a New Prevention Course

Wallingford, CT Gateway Community College is offering a Substance Abuse Prevention course that focuses on how to prevent alcohol and drug abuse. This course will meet 45 of the 100 educational hours required for Connecticuts Certified Prevention Specialist credential.

Who should take this course?

This course is designed for anyone who will be working with children, families; in human services or nursing; any field which interacts with children, families, and communities; or agencies interested in exploring prevention grants.

When is the course?

Classes start on Monday, January 24th at 5 PM.

Where is this course offered?

This course is on the North Haven campus of Gateway Community College.
