Training Approval Update

Wallingford, CT As noted in the application materials, training approval applications need to be received in the CCB offices no less than 30 days prior to the event. The 30 day window is required in order to review all documentation to ensure that all standards required by the CCB are met.

Training approval applications that are received less than 30 days prior to the event will be charged a $25 late fee in addition to the training approval fee. Applications without all required fees will not be processed. Please note that submission of an application along with the fee does not guarantee approval of the training event. Other required documentation includes an outline of the event, training agenda, learning objectives and either a resume or short biography of the presenter. Incomplete applications will not be approved.

Additionally, any approved training events are subject to auditing by CCB staff, board members, or designated individuals. This helps us to ensure the training events are meeting their learning objectives, that trainers are able to provide information effectively, and that they are representing the fields according to the highest professional standards.

The training approval application is available on the CCB website. Any questions about training requirements can be sent to the Executive Director at
